This Privacy Policy explains how Solar Cancellation Hub ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, discloses, and safeguards personal information when you visit this website, call us, or submit a request for a free solar contract review. By using this site or submitting our form, you agree to the practices described below.
Solar Cancellation Hub is a solar contract consultation and advocacy service. We are not a law firm, we do not provide legal advice, and we do not guarantee any particular outcome.

We are the controller (business) responsible for the personal information described in this notice.
2. Information We Collect
Information you give us. When you submit the free solar contract review form or call us, we may collect:
- First and last name
- Phone number and email address
- Details about your solar agreement, such as whether you leased or financed the panels and whether you believe you were misled or pressured
- Any additional details you choose to share on a call
Information collected automatically. When you visit the site we and our analytics and advertising partners may collect IP address, device and browser type, operating system, referring URL, pages viewed, approximate location derived from IP, and interaction events such as clicking a phone link or submitting the form.
Marketing attribution data. We record campaign parameters that appear in the URL you arrive on, including UTM parameters, Google Click Identifier (gclid), Meta Click Identifier (fbclid), and affiliate network click identifiers, so we can attribute a lead to the ad that produced it.
We do not intentionally collect Social Security numbers, financial account numbers, government ID numbers, or health information. Please do not send us sensitive information of that kind.
3. How We Use Your Information
- To contact you about the free contract review you requested, by phone, text message, or email
- To review your solar lease, PPA, loan, or purchase agreement and explain the options that may be available to you
- To determine state-specific eligibility for our services
- To respond to questions, requests, and customer service issues
- To measure, attribute, and improve the performance of our advertising and this website
- To detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and invalid or duplicated form submissions
- To comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Use
We rely on your consent (for marketing contact and non-essential cookies), the performance of a service you requested, and our legitimate interests in operating and securing our business.
4. Communications Consent, Calls, and Text Messages
When you submit our form and check the consent box, you expressly consent to be contacted by Solar Cancellation Hub and its consultation partners at the phone number and email you provide, including by automatic telephone dialing systems, prerecorded or artificial voice messages, and SMS text messages, even if that number is on a state or federal Do Not Call list.
Consent is not a condition of purchase or of receiving any service. Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies. Reply STOP to any text message to opt out, or HELP for help. You may also opt out at any time by calling (877) 511-8931 or emailing privacy@solarcancellationhub.com. Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link. Mobile opt-in data and consent are never shared with third parties for their own marketing purposes.
Calls with our specialists may be recorded or monitored for quality and training purposes where permitted by law.
7. Your Privacy Rights (California and Other States)
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to: know what personal information we collect and how we use it; access or receive a copy of your information; correct inaccurate information; delete your information; opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information or targeted advertising; and not be discriminated against for exercising these rights.
California residents (CCPA/CPRA) may also request the categories of personal information collected, disclosed, or shared in the preceding 12 months. Residents of Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, Texas, Oregon, and other states with comprehensive privacy laws have comparable rights, including the right to appeal a denied request.
To exercise a right, including "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information," email privacy@solarcancellationhub.com or call (877) 511-8931. We will verify your request using the contact details we have on file and respond within the time frame required by law (generally 45 days). An authorized agent may submit a request on your behalf with written permission.
8. Data Retention and Security
We retain lead and consultation records for as long as needed to provide the service and to satisfy legal, tax, and TCPA record-keeping obligations — generally up to five years from your last interaction with us — after which we delete or de-identify them.
We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards including encryption in transit (HTTPS), access controls, and vendor due diligence. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. Children's Privacy
This site is intended for homeowners aged 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If you believe a child has provided information to us, contact privacy@solarcancellationhub.com and we will delete it.
10. Third-Party Links and Services
Our site may link to third-party websites or services that we do not control. This Privacy Policy does not apply to those properties; please review their own privacy notices before providing information.
11. U.S. Audience and Data Location
Our services are offered to residents of the United States, and information is processed and stored in the United States. If you access the site from outside the U.S., you consent to the transfer and processing of your information in the U.S.
12. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision, and material changes will be posted on this page. Continued use of the site after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
