We are the controller (business) responsible for the personal information described in this notice.

Information you give us. When you submit the free solar contract review form or call us, we may collect:

• First and last name
• Phone number and email address
• Details about your solar agreement, such as whether you leased or financed the panels and whether you believe you were misled or pressured
• Any additional details you choose to share on a call

Information collected automatically. When you visit the site we and our analytics and advertising partners may collect IP address, device and browser type, operating system, referring URL, pages viewed, approximate location derived from IP, and interaction events such as clicking a phone link or submitting the form.

Marketing attribution data. We record campaign parameters that appear in the URL you arrive on, including UTM parameters, Google Click Identifier (gclid), Meta Click Identifier (fbclid), and affiliate network click identifiers, so we can attribute a lead to the ad that produced it.

We do not intentionally collect Social Security numbers, financial account numbers, government ID numbers, or health information. Please do not send us sensitive information of that kind.

We rely on your consent (for marketing contact and non-essential cookies), the performance of a service you requested, and our legitimate interests in operating and securing our business.

When you submit our form and check the consent box, you expressly consent to be contacted by Solar Cancellation Hub and its consultation partners at the phone number and email you provide, including by automatic telephone dialing systems, prerecorded or artificial voice messages, and SMS text messages, even if that number is on a state or federal Do Not Call list.

Consent is not a condition of purchase or of receiving any service. Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies. Reply STOP to any text message to opt out, or HELP for help. Mobile opt-in data and consent are never shared with third parties for their own marketing purposes.

Calls with our specialists may be recorded or monitored for quality and training purposes where permitted by law.

We do not sell your personal information to unrelated third parties for their independent marketing. We share information only as follows:

• Consultation partners. Vetted specialists, advocates, and where relevant independent licensed attorneys or firms who perform the contract review you requested.
• Service providers. Hosting, form and CRM platforms, telephony and SMS providers, email delivery, analytics, and fraud prevention vendors acting on our instructions.
• Advertising and measurement partners. Google, Meta, and our affiliate network receive event and identifier data used for conversion measurement and audience optimization.
• Legal and safety. When required by law, subpoena, or legal process, or to protect our rights, users, or the public.
• Business transfers. In connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets.

Certain sharing with advertising partners may be considered a "sale" or "sharing" of personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising under some state laws. See "Your Privacy Rights" below to opt out.

We use cookies, pixels, local storage, and similar technologies for essential site functionality, analytics, and advertising measurement. Partners may include Google Analytics and Google Ads, the Meta (Facebook/Instagram) Pixel and Conversions API, Google Tag Manager, and an affiliate click-tracking platform.

We will verify your request using the contact details we have on file and respond within the time frame required by law (generally 45 days). An authorized agent may submit a request on your behalf with written permission.

We retain lead and consultation records for as long as needed to provide the service and to satisfy legal, tax, and TCPA record-keeping obligations — generally up to five years from your last interaction with us — after which we delete or de-identify them.

We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards including encryption in transit (HTTPS), access controls, and vendor due diligence. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

This site is intended for homeowners aged 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If you believe a child has provided information to us, contact privacy@solarcancellationhub.com and we will delete it.

Our site may link to third-party websites or services that we do not control. This Privacy Policy does not apply to those properties; please review their own privacy notices before providing information.

Our services are offered to residents of the United States, and information is processed and stored in the United States. If you access the site from outside the U.S., you consent to the transfer and processing of your information in the U.S.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision, and material changes will be posted on this page. Continued use of the site after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
